The Q-Babes Apparel
In honor of it being expo time…This is a vintage Q-Babes model’s outfit from the 90s, as was worn by a group of women (known as the Q-Babes) who served as trade show and event models to promote Q-Zar laser tag. Equipment.
I have seen photos of a group of about 14 or so Q-Babes models wearing this very outfit at events including the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, GA where the Q-Zar IQ packs were demonstrated and played at the Olympic Village that summer. Only 16 IQ packs were manufactured for the event. Check out the video.
This outfit was made by Versace. It has both the Versace label and the Versace imprint directly on the fabric. It has been branded with the Q-Zar logo embroidered on the top and also on the back of the pants.
Las Vegas, Japan, Atlanta, Miami, New Orleans, New York and California were among the locations where the Q-Babes models were reportedly part of Q-Zar related events and trade shows. As we prepare for the start of Amusement Expo next week, it seemed like a good time to share a piece of laser tag trade show history! 🙂
